WELCOME FRIENDS

Hello friends,
Thanks for checking on africaentertainmentandsports,where we intend to write on issues relating to the entertainment sector (music,arts,film,fashion,modeling,photography,TV/radio,etc) and sports (soccer,ayo,athletics,rugby,etc) in africa.This will be done in a way that will entertain and at the same time educate all of us,with the ultimate aim of developing those sectors and adding sustantial value both economically and socially.At least we all agree that sports and the arts are the areas where africans still feel a sense of living,and actually excell,despite the acute poverty and other social challenges in the land.
It's good to also let you know that I'm based in Nigeria (land of Nollywood,Golden Eaglets,Tinapa,Fela,2face,etc) so a lot of my own contributions will derive from that region.That is why I'm counting on you,my friends in SA,Ghana,Egypt,etc. to participate actively and let us know what's going on in your areas.
Our sisters and brothers in "Oyinboland"(ie,Europe,America,..everywhere),please join us as well,to make your homeland a treasure.
